Designed Specifically for Bar-Code Labeling Applications
Featuring a double adhesive system for smooth surfaces, our 3M™ Adhesive Transfer Tape 9466B is formulated for attaching bar-code labels to blood bags and pharmaceutical containers. The system includes a 2.0 mil primary Adhesive 400, a high tack acrylic adhesive which is excellent for bonding to smooth surfaces. A 1 mil secondary Adhesive 300 is formulated for bonding to a variety of surfaces including plastics. These adhesives are applied to a .5 mil polypropylene film liner which adds stability and flexibility, ideal for medical bottles and bags. Both are designed for short term temperature exposure up to 250°F (121°C). A 3.5 mil silicone-coated liner adds strength and stability during flatbed or rotary die-cutting of label sets.

What is Adhesive Transfer Tape?
In general, 3M adhesive transfer tapes are rolls of pressure sensitive adhesive pre-applied to a special release liner. The tape consists of adhesive only, and does not have any type of carrier material such as film. For application the tape is positioned adhesive side down to a surface and the liner is removed, exposing the backside adhesive to the joining surface.
